Pedersen is showing us reality based on human actions and traces, she says about her work:

In my practice I am occupied by everyday life and the traces of people that tell a story about cultures and lives. I am eager to investigate things and places that have soul, and which may be blind spots in many people’s minds. I am inspired by time gaps in the city, and then traces of people in the big city. It is especially the “skin of the city” that I capture and interpret. It is important for me to create a new reality in my art so my story can begin.
