Raul Tejada

Raul Tejada born in 1975 in the island of the Dominican Republic. At the age of 13 Raul
and his family migrated to the United State and called New York City their new home. As a kid
Raul loved reading comic books, and not only was he fascinated by the stories but also by the
incredible drawings and colors within the pages, then it was as a teenager seeing graffiti on the
trains and walls all over New York City that sparked his desire to become an artist. As a self
taught artist, Raul worked for many years as a muralist, but now turns his attention to work on
canvas and the fine arts.
