Refund and Returns Policy
Mika Art Gallery ships original paintings and fine-art photographs worldwide from our gallery located in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. Due to the unique and delicate nature of original artworks, our return and refund policy is subject to specific conditions outlined below.
By placing an order on mika-gallery.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this policy in its entirety.
We accept return requests under the conditions listed below. All return requests must be initiated within 14 days of the confirmed delivery date.
- Item arrived visibly damaged in transit
- Wrong artwork delivered
- Artwork significantly differs from the described condition
- Authenticity dispute (subject to verification)
- Change of mind after delivery
- Colour variations due to screen calibration
- Minor frame imperfections within normal tolerance
- Custom-framed or made-to-order works
- Digital downloads or printed reproductions
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Please note the following timeframes:
Mika Art Gallery is not responsible for any delays caused by financial institutions or payment processors. If your refund has not appeared after 10 business days, please contact your bank before reaching out to us.
Shipping and insurance fees paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable, except in cases where an error was made on our part (e.g., wrong artwork shipped).
In cases of damage or gallery error: Mika Art Gallery will cover the cost of return shipping and provide prepaid labels or reimbursement upon receipt of the returned item and proof of postage.
In all other approved return cases: The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. We strongly recommend using a trackable, insured shipping method. Mika Art Gallery cannot be held liable for artworks lost or further damaged during return transit if shipped without adequate insurance.
As a gallery shipping worldwide, we are aware that international returns involve additional complexity. Please note the following:
Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees associated with the return shipment to Israel. Mika Art Gallery will not reimburse customs or import charges incurred during the original delivery or on return shipments.
For returns from outside Israel, we recommend consulting a local shipping specialist experienced in fine-art transport to ensure compliance with export/import regulations for cultural goods.
We do not offer direct exchanges, as each artwork in our gallery is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece. If you would like to explore alternative works after an approved return, our team would be delighted to guide you through our current collection.

This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes arising in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel.
For EU and UK customers, your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected by this policy. Where applicable consumer protection laws provide greater rights, those rights shall prevail.
